FUEL
The Forest Users Education Liaison (FUEL) project was developed in 2006 by the Motorcycle Council of NSW, the Dual Sport Motorcycle Riders Association and Forests NSW in response to increasing incidence of community disturbance, conflict with other forest users and emergency evacuations of injured trail riders.
The project was funded by a grant from the NSW Environmental Trust of the Department of Environment and Climate Change.
The project aims to develop and implement an effective educational and awareness raising process for forest trail motorcycle recreation enthusiasts in an effort to reduce the incidence of irresponsible and/or illegitimate forest trail recreation riders and the associated environmental and social issues. This website forms part of the FUEL project.
